This Payment Policy describes the payment methods, processes and security practices used by Groricery on the Groricery platform.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following payment methods:
- Online Payment — UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking and Wallets.
- Bank Transfer (NEFT / IMPS) — Direct transfer to our registered bank account. Details are provided at checkout.
2. Online Payment
Online payments are processed securely using 256-bit SSL encryption. We do not store any card, UPI or net banking credentials on our servers. Payments are handled through a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
After a successful payment, your order will be confirmed automatically and dispatched within 1–2 working days.
3. Bank Transfer
If you choose bank transfer at checkout, please transfer the exact order amount to our account and share your UTR (transaction reference) number via email or WhatsApp. Our bank details will be shown on the order confirmation page.
Orders placed via bank transfer will be processed only after payment is confirmed by our accounts team, which typically takes 2–6 hours on business days.
4. Payment Security
All online transactions on Groricery are secured with:
- HTTPS / SSL encryption across the entire platform
- CSRF protection on all form submissions
- Secure online payment verification for every payment callback

5. GST and Invoicing
Rice products sold on this platform are not subject to GST. Prices shown for rice are final with no GST added. A digital invoice will be sent to your registered email address upon order confirmation.
6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails after being debited from your account, the amount will typically be reversed to your source account within 5–7 working days by the payment gateway. If you do not receive a refund within this period, please contact us with your transaction reference number.
7. Currency
All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR). We do not accept foreign currency payments at this time.
